First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study looks at two different materials used to make dental onlays (a type of tooth restoration) for molars with decay. Forty people received onlays made from either a special polymer (BioHPP) or a ceramic (lithium disilicate). Researchers will check how well each material holds up over time, focusing on fit, color, and comfort. The goal is to see if the polymer is a good alternative to the ceramic.
