First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compares two types of dental implants (basal vs. compressive) in 14 people with severe jawbone loss. Both implant types are placed in the front part of the lower jaw and immediately fitted with a permanent denture. Researchers will check bone health, bone levels, and implant stability after 1 and 2 years to see which design works better.
