First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests four different ways to apply a new universal dental adhesive when fixing cavities on the side of teeth. Fifty patients will receive a total of 200 fillings, each using a different application method. The fillings will be checked every six months for four years to see which method keeps the filling in place best and prevents staining or decay.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could identify the best method to apply dental adhesive, making fillings last longer and reducing the need for repeat dental work.
