Could a chemo break be safe for colorectal cancer patients with new lung spots?
NCT ID NCT06778382
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at colorectal cancer patients whose disease is under control (no evidence of cancer) but later develop a few new lung spots. Instead of starting chemotherapy right away, doctors will treat those spots with surgery or radiation and then watch closely. The goal is to see if it's safe to delay the next round of chemotherapy, possibly giving patients more time without treatment side effects.
