NCT ID NCT03775980
First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study observed 500 adults with colorectal cancer that spread to the liver. All were treated with the Emprint Microwave Ablation System, which uses heat to destroy tumors. The goal was to see how well the system controls liver tumors at 12 months and to track any side effects. The study did not test a new treatment but collected real-world data on how this device performs.
