Summary

This study aims to find genetic changes in bowel tissue affected by endometriosis that might increase the risk of colorectal cancer. Researchers will compare gene activity in healthy and diseased bowel tissue from 30 women having surgery for bowel endometriosis. The goal is to improve risk assessment and guide decisions about surgery for women with mild or no symptoms.
