First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a special vaccine (dendritic cell vaccine) and an immune-boosting drug (varlilumab) to standard chemotherapy and radiation can help people with newly diagnosed glioblastoma live longer. About 43 participants will receive the vaccine and be randomly assigned to different pre-conditioning methods. The goal is to see if this approach can improve overall survival by better activating the immune system against the tumor.
