Power nap powers agility in teen soccer stars
NCT ID NCT07314645
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a short daytime nap (25 or 45 minutes) helps teenage soccer players run faster and feel less tired. Sixteen male players from a Turkish club tried both nap lengths and a no-nap day. Results showed that napping improved their agility and made them feel like they were working less hard, but it did not help them resist fatigue during repeated sprints.
