First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at medical records of 200 adults who came to the emergency room with a heart attack. Doctors usually give one blood thinner in the ER and a second one later in the catheterization lab. This research checks if giving both blood thinners in the ER leads to more bleeding or better heart and brain outcomes. The goal is to find the safest and most effective way to treat heart attacks early.
