Summary

This study will analyze health data from up to 50,000 people in Germany to find out how common three eye diseases—nAMD, DME, and RVO—are and how they have changed from 2009 to 2024. Researchers will look at two large sets of health records to see how many new cases occur each year and what factors, like age or other health problems, might affect these numbers. The goal is to better understand these diseases and how they are treated, without giving any new treatments to participants.
