Milk vs. plants: the Bone-Building drink showdown
NCT ID NCT06946316
Summary
This study aims to see if drinking dairy milk or plant-based beverages (pea or almond) after strength training helps improve bone health in postmenopausal women and men aged 50+. Over 12 months, 150 participants will do supervised strength training three times a week and drink their assigned beverage after each session. Researchers will measure changes in bone density, strength, and body composition to determine which drink works best.
