Summary

This study looked at whether eating more dairy products (full-fat or low-fat) helps people with type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar, weight, and heart health. 112 adults with type 2 diabetes who ate fewer than 3 servings of dairy per day were assigned to add either full-fat or low-fat dairy to their regular diet. The main goal was to see if dairy intake improved blood sugar control over 24 weeks.
