Curcumin absorption tested in tiny human study
NCT ID NCT07379177
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will test how a new nano-curcumin supplement is absorbed by the body compared to a standard curcumin product. Twelve healthy adults will take both types of capsules at different times, and their blood will be checked for curcumin levels. The goal is simply to measure absorption and safety, not to treat any disease.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Curcumin (nano-curcumin capsules and standard curcumin capsules)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could help develop a more absorbable curcumin supplement for future health studies.
What could go wrong
This is a very early, small study in healthy people, not patients. It only measures absorption, not any health benefit. Results may not apply to real-world use.
