Summary
This study tested whether a food supplement containing curcumin, green tea, and vitamin D can help control symptoms of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D). 78 adults with IBS-D took either the supplement or a placebo for 4 weeks, followed by 4 weeks where everyone received the supplement. The main goal was to see if the supplement reduced IBS symptom severity scores compared to placebo.
