First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether taking curcumin (a compound found in turmeric) after prostate removal surgery can help keep prostate cancer from coming back. About 650 men with early-stage prostate cancer who have had their prostate removed will take curcumin or a placebo. The main goal is to see if curcumin improves the time without cancer recurrence, measured by PSA levels.
