Can a simple touch or word ease back pain? new study tests both.

NCT ID NCT07324538

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at two different coaching methods—using hands-on guidance (manual cueing) versus spoken instructions (verbal cueing)—during movement training for people with long-term low back pain. About 40 adults will take part in one session to see which approach helps them move better and feel less pain right away. The goal is to help therapists choose the best way to guide their patients.
