Summary

This study tested a new medicine called CU01-1001 in 240 adults with type 2 diabetes and early kidney damage (protein in urine). Participants took the drug or a placebo for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see if the drug could lower the amount of protein leaking into urine, a sign of kidney health. The study is complete, and results will show if the drug is safe and effective for controlling diabetic kidney disease.
