Summary

This study looked at how the way blood samples are collected and processed affects the ability to detect tumor DNA in people with early-stage breast cancer. Researchers tested different collection tubes, storage conditions, and processing methods to see which ones preserve cancer DNA best. The goal is to improve future blood tests for tracking cancer. 114 participants with stage I-III breast cancer took part.
