First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study collects spinal fluid, blood, saliva, and tumor samples from 139 adults with HER2-positive or triple-negative breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body but not yet to the brain. Researchers will analyze these samples for tumor DNA that might help predict if and when the cancer will reach the brain. Participants are followed every 6 months for 3 years.
