Could freezing kill lung cancer? new study tests Cryo-Treatment during bronchoscopy

Summary

This study tests a procedure called cryodevitalization, which freezes and kills early-stage lung cancer cells during a standard diagnostic bronchoscopy. About 30 people with stage I or II lung cancer will take part to see if the treatment is safe and tolerable. The goal is to find the best freezing time and check for side effects.
