Freezing nerves to ease agony of broken ribs
NCT ID NCT06533904
Summary
This study is testing whether freezing the nerves around broken ribs (a procedure called cryoablation) helps reduce pain and improve breathing better than standard pain treatments. Researchers will compare the two approaches in 30 adults with multiple painful rib fractures. The goal is to see if this procedure helps people recover lung function faster and with less pain.
