Kidney therapy in burn victims: does it help or just extend hospital stays?

NCT ID NCT07195565

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of 238 severely burned adults who needed continuous kidney therapy (CRRT) in the intensive care unit. The goal was to see how the timing of starting CRRT and the severity of kidney injury related to survival and how long patients stayed in the hospital. The findings help doctors understand which patients might benefit most from this treatment.
