Summary
This study looked at antibodies in the intestines of 160 people: 80 with Crohn's disease, 40 with ulcerative colitis, and 40 without inflammatory bowel disease. Researchers took blood samples and intestinal biopsies to compare antibody levels in the gut versus the blood. The goal was to see if measuring antibodies directly from the gut could give better information about the disease.
