First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how COVID-19 may change organs like the heart, lungs, or kidneys in people who had the virus. Researchers will compare these changes between people with type 2 diabetes and those without diabetes. The goal is to better understand long-term effects of COVID-19, not to test a treatment. About 35 adults who were hospitalized with COVID-19 will participate.
