Summary

This study looked at whether adding small amounts of cottonseed oil to the diet can improve cholesterol and other heart disease risk factors. 95 adults at increased risk for heart disease drank shakes and ate snacks with different amounts of cottonseed oil for 28 days. Researchers measured changes in cholesterol, blood sugar, and other health markers.
