Tiny camera vs. standard scope: which ACL surgery costs less?

NCT ID NCT07553975

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This pilot study will compare the costs and patient satisfaction of ACL knee surgery using a smaller, newer camera system (NanoScope) versus the traditional arthroscopy method. About 42 adults aged 18-60 with an ACL tear will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgical approaches. The goal is to see if the NanoScope can reduce operating room costs while maintaining or improving patient outcomes.
