NCT ID NCT07482332
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether adding core stabilization exercises to standard knee exercises can improve symptoms and function in women aged 40-65 with knee osteoarthritis. Forty participants will receive either knee exercises alone or knee exercises plus core exercises for six weeks. The goal is to see if the extra core work helps with strength, endurance, and daily activities.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
core stabilization exercises plus routine knee exercises
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a better exercise program to ease pain and improve daily function for women with knee osteoarthritis.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 40 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The exercises are not a cure and may not help all patients.
