Massive study tracks thousands to unlock COPD secrets
NCT ID NCT01969344
Summary
This is a long-term observational study, not a treatment trial. Its purpose is to learn more about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) by following a large group of people over many years. Researchers are observing participants to identify different types of COPD, find better ways to measure if the disease is getting worse, and understand how environmental factors like air pollution affect it.
