First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether clinical pharmacists can provide COPD care that is as good as care from lung specialists. About 4000 veterans with COPD will have their care reviewed by either a pharmacist or a specialist, who will send recommendations to their primary doctor. The goal is to see if pharmacist-led management can improve patient health and reduce hospital visits.
