First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compares freezing breast tumors (cryoablation) to standard surgery (lumpectomy) in 120 women with low-risk, early-stage breast cancer. The goal is to see if freezing offers similar disease control with fewer complications and better quality of life. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments.
