Summary
This study tested an updated version of the Control-IQ system, which automatically adjusts insulin delivery for people with type 1 diabetes. Sixty-six adults and adolescents used the new software along with a continuous glucose monitor for several weeks. The main goal was to see if the improvements could reduce dangerously low blood sugar levels and prevent severe hypoglycemia and diabetic ketoacidosis.
