Pain relief without touching the sore spot: new study tests Opposite-Arm therapy
NCT ID NCT07248943
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at a new way to treat cervical radiculopathy, a condition causing neck and arm pain from a pinched nerve. Since some people can't tolerate direct treatment on their painful arm, researchers will test if gently moving the opposite arm can provide relief. Forty adults will receive one session of this therapy, and their pain and function will be measured before and after.
