First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study explores a possible link between long-term constipation and problems in the sacroiliac joint (where the spine meets the pelvis). Researchers will test 200 adults with chronic constipation using simple physical exams to see if they also have joint pain. The goal is to understand if treating the joint could help with constipation.
