First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding connective tissue massage to exercise helps people with chronic low back pain more than a fake massage. Forty adults aged 18-65 with back pain for at least six months will receive either real or sham massage twice a week for eight weeks. Researchers will measure pain, mobility, balance, and quality of life to see if the massage provides extra benefit.
