Summary
This study tested a computer program called PAINRelieveIt to help hospice patients with cancer pain. 262 patient-caregiver pairs used the touchscreen software to report pain and track medications. The goal was to see if it improved pain control, medication adherence, and satisfaction compared to usual care.
