New study tests which lens implant gives sharper intermediate vision after cataract surgery

Summary
This study compares two different trifocal toric lens implants used during cataract surgery to correct cataracts, astigmatism, and presbyopia (difficulty seeing up close). About 138 adults with regular corneal astigmatism will receive one of the two lenses. The main goal is to see if both lenses provide equally clear vision at arm's length (70 cm) six months after surgery.
