New study to test which surgical guide works best for jaw realignment
NCT ID NCT07634276
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two methods for guiding jaw surgery: traditional computer-designed splints versus a newer guide system that attaches to both teeth and bone. The goal is to see which method is more accurate and leads to better stability after surgery. About 50 adults with jaw deformities will take part, and researchers will measure how well the jaw bones heal and align.
