Pre-Surgery painkiller may ease jaw surgery recovery

Summary

This study tests whether giving pain medicine (acetaminophen or ibuprofen) before jaw surgery can lower pain and the need for extra painkillers after the operation. About 72 adults having specific jaw procedures will be randomly assigned to one of three groups. The goal is to find a better way to manage pain and improve patient comfort after surgery.
