NCT ID NCT07514481
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at two methods of giving surfactant (a medicine that helps lungs work) to premature babies with breathing distress. One method uses a thin tube without a breathing machine, the other uses a breathing tube. Researchers will use lung ultrasound to see which method spreads the medicine more evenly. About 22 babies will take part to help guide future larger studies.
