Summary

This study aims to find the best treatment for sudden worsening of COPD (a lung disease). It compares two common steroids, hydrocortisone and prednisolone, in 2,000 adults aged 40 and older. The main goal is to see if one reduces hospital readmissions or deaths within 30 days better than the other.
