New study aims to find best surgery for painful anal fissure

Summary
This study compares three different surgical methods for treating chronic anal fissures that haven't healed with medication. The goal is to see which technique best heals the fissure while reducing the risk of accidental bowel leakage. 150 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the three procedures and followed for a year.
