Summary
This study compares two types of surgery for a long-lasting tear in the skin around the anus (chronic anal fissure). 160 adults who did not get better with creams or diet changes will be randomly assigned to one of two surgical methods. The main goal is to see which method leads to faster wound healing, less pain, and fewer problems like incontinence or return of the fissure.
