First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares three different surgical techniques for men with very large prostates (over 100 mL) who have severe urinary symptoms. Ninety men will be randomly assigned to receive either thulium fiber laser, holmium laser, or bipolar electrosurgery. Researchers will measure improvements in urinary flow, symptom scores, and quality of life over six months, as well as track complications and recovery time.
