NCT ID NCT07447583

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested three cavity treatments in 60 children aged 4-8 years. Each child received all three treatments on different baby molars: the Hall Technique (a cap placed without drilling), silver diamine fluoride (a liquid that stops decay), and a standard tooth-colored filling. The goal was to see which approach works best over 18 months, causes less pain, and is more acceptable to children and parents.
