Dental filling showdown: which material and polish lasts longest?
NCT ID NCT07627295
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at two types of tooth-colored filling materials (ormocer and methacrylate-based bulk-fill) and different polishing methods for cavities near the gum line (class V). About 25 adults with these cavities will receive fillings and be followed for 2 years to see which combination looks better, lasts longer, and causes fewer problems. The goal is to find the best way to restore these common cavities.
