First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026

Summary

This study compares two procedures to relieve a blocked bile duct caused by cancer. About 120 people with pancreatic or bile duct cancer will be randomly assigned to get either a newer ultrasound-guided method or the standard ERCP procedure. The goal is to see which approach has fewer failures and causes less pancreatitis.
