First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a community health worker can help people newly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer feel better and manage their symptoms. The health worker meets with patients and their caregivers to address physical, emotional, and practical concerns, and helps coordinate care. Researchers will compare this support to standard care in 60 patients and their caregivers over three months.
