Summary
This study tested a device called Colovac+ in 27 adults with colorectal cancer who had surgery to remove part of their colon. The device is placed inside the body to protect the new surgical connection and keep it clean while it heals. The goal was to see if it could reduce complications and help patients avoid a temporary colostomy bag.
