First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested two types of skin grafts—a collagen-based substitute and a donated human tissue membrane—on 60 people with hard-to-heal leg ulcers caused by poor blood flow. The goal was to see which one helped wounds close faster and improve healing at the tissue level. Results will help doctors choose the best option for treating these chronic wounds.
