First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study is testing a new tool to help doctors measure hypergranulation, an overgrowth of tissue that can slow wound healing. About 100 people with leg ulcers or surgical wounds will have their wounds photographed and assessed. The goal is to create a standard way to grade hypergranulation, which could improve treatment and future research.
